850 Armed Forces Covenant signatories across Yorkshire and the Humber

Signing the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) is quick and easy but for many organisations it is an important first step on the ladder towards getting a better understanding of the military, partnering with Defence and accessing a pool of fantastic potential employees in the form of service leavers, veterans, reservists, cadets and their families.

The AFC is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, are treated fairly and with respect. Nationally over 12,000 and across Yorkshire and the Humber 850 employers have signed the Covenant to demonstrate they are forces-friendly.  The Covenant pledges can be tailored to align with your business and there are no costs involved.  Supportive employers can then climb the MOD’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Awards, from Bronze to Gold, dependent on their level of engagement and advocacy.
