Doncaster Chamber member, PAB Languages Center, and City of Doncaster Council teamed up to deliver an exciting and educational event that is sure to be fun for the whole family during Doncaster Remake Learning Festival this year.
The two half-day upcoming workshops activities offer a range of engaging and interactive activities that promote cultural awareness and inclusivity. From language activities, arts, and crafts to a book corner and memory wall, there is something for everyone.
The Doncaster Remake Learning Days Festival is taking place over 10 days, right across Doncaster, offering free and low cost, family-friendly activities and events designed to build knowledge and spark creativity.
Chris Clark, Project Manager, Doncaster Council, said: “We are really pleased that PAB Languages are able to put on some events for the festival.”
“We want people of all ages to rediscover a love for learning outside of the classroom and join in to inspire curiosity, spark new passions and even discover new hobbies or future career options!"
PAB aims to facilitate activities that promote collaboration, respect, and understanding of inclusion, diversity, and equality of opportunities. By building relationships between children, families, and communities from different countries and cultures.
Lelde Plesa, Community Engagement Manager of PAB Languages Center said: “PAB team hopes to create interesting and engaging sessions that champions cross-cultural and language competency and promotes inclusivity. We will be there to talk about different cultures and the benefits of speaking a second language, and how it can boost career opportunities regardless of the sector or industry one will choose to pursue.”
Through these activities, PAB wants to encourage everyone to improve their communication skills with speakers from other cultures and broaden their knowledge about the importance of cultural awareness in society. With the main focus on developing and consolidating new and existing skills and knowledge of future career opportunities, this workshop is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills while having fun!
