Doncaster Photographer VSP Captured the Excitement of the Paris Olympics!

Graham Beardsley, a Doncaster Chamber member and photographer with VSP Images, played a significant role in capturing the excitement and drama of the Paris Olympics. As an accredited photographer, Graham had the honour of documenting some of the most memorable moments of the Games, including the iconic image of Team GB triathlete Alex Yee on the podium after his triumphant gold medal win in the men's race.
 
Graham’s expertise was sought after by both Team GB and British Triathlon, who commissioned him to photograph their men's and women's triathlon teams in action. His deep passion for triathlon, combined with his established connections within the sport's national governing body, positioned him perfectly for this prestigious assignment. Despite his experience, the opportunity to photograph the Olympics came as a thrilling surprise, and he embraced the challenge with dedication, navigating an intense schedule that often required early morning starts.
 
In addition to his work at the Olympics, Graham had the unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s most renowned sports photographers, further enhancing his skills and experience. His contributions not only captured the athletic achievements of the Games but also the emotions and stories behind them.
 
Looking ahead, Graham is set to return to Paris for the Paralympics, where he will continue his work by covering six days of competition.
