Enviro Electronics Offer Free Electronic Disposal Service at the Doncaster Business Showcase

Enviro Elecronics — winner of our Green Business of the Year award —  has decided to offer a free disposal service for any broken electronics.

This will be available at the upcoming Business Showcase, which is taking place at Doncaster Racecourse on Thursday, 2nd February 2023. Here, Enviro Electronics will be exhibiting at stands 38-39 where they will have a secure IT disposal bin for visitors to take advantage of.  

This idea for this came from conversations with Business Doncaster about how we can help our city reach its target to become NET ZERO by 2040, a whole 10 years ahead of the rest of the UK! Enviro Electronics aim is to make WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling simple and cost free, so that more items are recycled compared to what we send to tips and landfills. 

So it's time to clear out that cupboard of old laptops, phones, tablets etc and bring them down to our Enviro Electronics for recycling. 

Examples of WEEE that Enviro collects range from servers, PCs, laptops, desktops, telephone systems, right through to toasters, vacuum cleaners, and microwaves. In simple terms, they collect pretty much all forms of WEEE and operate by a zero to landfill policy. 

Their aim is to reuse or repurpose where possible. In doing so, they are are able to support community projects by donating essential IT equipment to organisations and families affected by Digital Poverty to ensure children can do their homework, adults can take courses online or apply for jobs etc. 

Enivro Electronics would love for everyone looking to recycle to visit their stand and learn more about their service. They are happy to book larger collections on the day for businesses or to arrange to have bins sent to your site!
