Local Business Pledges Support to Tickhill Junior Football Club

A business, which is based across South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire, has pledged its support to award-winning Tickhill Juniors Football Club for the second year in a row.

In a new deal, Carlton Forest Group are the kit sponsors for the U12’s team and will become the sponsor of the Tickhill Juniors Annual Tournament (taking place in June), which is one of the largest and most popular junior football tournaments in South Yorkshire with as many as 4000 people in attendance over the weekend.

Carlton Forest Group will also provide a lorry to serve as a stage for the awards ceremony, which will allow the children to conclude the event in a new and exciting way. It will also provide medals and water bottles to players who are part of the event.

“We’re very pleased to be supporting this club again, which plays such a huge part in our local community and attracts players from across the local neighbourhoods,” said Paul Scanlon, Group Property Director, Carlton Forest Group. “Additionally, it is great that we are to be headline sponsors at its summer tournament, which attracts over 400 players from across the North of England.”

Tickhill Juniors Football Club has over 300 members, almost 70 coaches and officials, and was established in 1986.

Andrew Taylor, Chairman and Team Manager, Tickhill Juniors Football Club commented: “This generous sponsorship from Carlton Forest Group will assist both our U12’s team and the wider club and allow us to continue to prosper during this season. The assistance of local businesses makes such a huge difference to our club and all the children that get so much from being part of it.”
