Time for Tea at Lakeside Village for Loneliness Awareness Week
A local mental health charity is paying a visit to Lakeside Village to provide an opportunity for people who may be feeling isolated or lonely to get together. As part of loneliness awareness week, which runs from 12-18 June 2023, staff from Doncaster Mind will be at the leading shopping outlet to run a ‘talk and tea’ session in the centre’s new Mutt Hut space, so that anyone who attends can also bring along their furry companion. Lakeside Village Enjoys Sales Boost in 2022
Doncaster’s leading shopping outlet, Lakeside Village, is celebrating a fantastic year of trading in 2022. Sales were up 11% like-for-like when compared to 2019. Lakeside Village Makes Donation to Local Mental Health Charity
Visitors to see Santa at Lakeside Village in 2022 helped raise a whopping £4,918 for local mental health charity, Doncaster Mind. The donations from the Santa visits were added to money raised throughout the year for the charity as Lakeside Village Shopping Outlet’s charity of the year. The management team at Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping have taken part in a Mental Health First Aid training course organised by Business Doncaster’s Advance team. The team, whose chosen charity for the year is Doncaster MIND, were keen to learn more about the difficulties that people may face and how they can help.
